Back is removable for ease of access. Please allow time for the recliner mechanism to ease. Minor gaps are necessary to ensure ease of motion and may be exaggerated depending on floor type. Leather has unique marks and characteristics with variance in colour and texture. Leather softens with use. Fixed seat and back cushions require smoothing and straightening regularly.
