Silentnight’s ingenious pocket-sprung support system is one of the mattress’s many standout features. An impressive 1800 pocket springs are segmented into a base layer of 800 Mirapocket springs and are supported by an additional layer of 1000 mini springs. The primary layer of 800 pocket springs functions independently and reacts to body movements to apply targeted support and relieve pressure. Conversely, the mini springs provide enhanced breathability and comfort and help pave the way for better sleep quality and quantity.

The Platinum comfort layer offers body moulding support and comfort similar to memory foam without the heat retention properties associated with the material. With this in mind, you can rely on the Plant Based 1800 for uncompromised comfort and support regardless of the season. Reaffirming the mattress’s breathability is the breathable Tencel Lyocell sleep surface, which boasts a silky and soft texture, allows for enhanced airflow, and helps to divert moisture away from the sleeper. 

This mattress features a medium tension and is designed with side sleepers in mind. Medium mattresses feature soft sleep surfaces to support the hip and shoulder sufficiently whilst sleeping on the side.
